About this course
Tajweed Mastery Program at Bilqalam Institute is a complete course in the rules of Tajweed and reciting the Qur'an the way it was revealed, built for Muslim families in the West, for children and adults alike. It takes your child step by step, from the points of articulation of the letters to the rules of noon, meem, and the madd, with hands-on practice straight from the Mushaf, until they recite the Qur'an correctly as it was received from the Prophet ﷺ. Every lesson is one-on-one with a specialist teacher you choose yourself, and a report after each class keeps you close to your child's progress.
How the course works
Lessons run one-on-one, live, between your child and a specialist teacher, at times that fit your week. Is it suitable for a complete beginner?
Yes, completely. We start from your child's current level, your teacher sets the right starting point in the free trial class, then builds up through Tajweed step by step to mastery.
How many lessons a week?
You choose, from two lessons a week and up. Each is one-on-one with the teacher, thirty or sixty minutes depending on your plan.
What does the student need?
A Mushaf, a device with an internet connection, and a willingness to learn. We handle the teacher, the curriculum, and the follow-up.
Are female teachers available?
Yes, qualified female teachers are available, and you choose the teacher who suits your child. If they're not the right fit, we switch, free, anytime.
